Still in the Huadong Valley. We visited a tea shop in Wuhe Village and got treated with a special kind of tea and spent the night in Yuli.

Yuli to Taitung City, where the fine rice is grown. We sent the bikes back to Songshan by Train and switch back to two normal tourists

We took a ride along a popular cycling route among local cyclists in Taipei east – the Xizhi Pigeon (28km, 394m), which is found a pleasant route with the right amount of challenge.

The riverside bikeways built along the rivers winding through Taipei City and New Taipei City form a vast network of bike paths. But they’re mostly hidden behind the flood walls and thus remain unknown to many visitors and tourists. We have compiled a list of various access points of this “bike freeway system”.

I participated in the “Two Tower in One Day” Challenge 一日雙塔 in 2021 to cycle a 520km route within 28 hours. I could not make it but here are some experiences worth sharing. This part is what actually happened during the event.
