Cycling around Taiwan in multiple stages is an itinerary I planned for my expat friends in Taipei who don’t have the luxury of taking 9 to 10 days’ off from work to do the around-the-island in one go. It’s also more manageable for cycling novices. In stage 1, we go from Taipei to Tainan/Kaohsiung in 4 days.
